Kaupapa Māori Antenatal and Kaiāwhina Education (M.A.K.E) is a hui for pregnant māori women and their whānau support, a compact course held on a marae or elsewhere in the community.
This free course will share current childbirth and early parenting knowledge, along with key baby safety messages. It empowers women to make informed decisions for themselves and their unborn babies. Partners, have their own break-away session to discuss the “what if stuff” while making Ipu Whenua, container for the afterbirth.
